The RFMS incorporates advanced technologies to optimize efficiency and sustainability. The Bio Inoculum Recirculation system, implemented at the plant, has achieved a 20% increase in treatment efficiency within three months, improving the treatment process while potentially lowering costs. The One-Touch Panel System, developed in collaboration with L&T, reduces operational errors and maintenance time by 30%, streamlining operations and minimizing human error. Remote Monitoring has been crucial in early identification of issues, particularly during the monsoon season, preventing system downtime and enhancing reliability. An IoT-based Monitoring Tool, currently in development with TIH IIT Guwahati, promises to further improve operational efficiency and facilitate data-driven decision-making. Additionally, the use of Plastic Bricks in construction ensures the plant's structural integrity during severe flooding, enhancing durability and reducing long-term maintenance costs. The plant also explores Low-Cost Plug and Play Technologies, which aim to make advanced treatment solutions more accessible. Finally, the integration of a hybrid model based on DEWATS (Decentralized Wastewater Treatment Systems) and MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor) combines nature-based and electromechanical processes, offering a balanced and efficient approach to wastewater treatment. The IP status for these innovations is currently pending.
